The Minority Christian Women Entrepreneurs Network (MCWEN) is a faith-centered network created to connect, equip, and support Christian women entrepreneurs as they build businesses, develop as leaders, and create meaningful impact.

Founded from a desire to create spaces where women could grow both professionally and personally, MCWEN has evolved into a community where entrepreneurship, faith, leadership, and meaningful relationships intersect.

We believe entrepreneurship is about more than building a business. It is also about building capacity, creating opportunities, stewarding influence, and becoming the kind of leader who can make a lasting difference.

For nearly a decade, MCWEN has brought entrepreneurs and professionals together through networking, education, community experiences, and opportunities for growth.

As we enter our next decade, our mission remains rooted in connection and empowerment, while our vision continues to expand.

Ten Years in the Making. The Next Chapter Starts Now.

THE POWER CONFERENCE is the next evolution of MCWEN's signature conference experience. Its story, however, began before MCWEN became a registered organization.

The first conference was launched ten years ago through P.E.R.K. Consulting as a culminating experience for a series of entrepreneurship workshops. The original vision was simple: bring business owners together to learn, connect, and build relationships beyond the classroom.

Over time, the conference became something more.

As the community grew and the conversations expanded, it became clear that the experience aligned naturally with the emerging vision of MCWEN. The conference eventually became part of MCWEN's programming and developed into an annual gathering centered on entrepreneurship, connection, faith, leadership, and personal growth.

What began as a single culminating event has continued to evolve with the community it serves. And now, ten years in, we are evolving again.

From Embracing YOU to POWER

For years, MCWEN's conference experience has created space for entrepreneurs to connect, learn, reflect, and grow. The Embracing YOU Conference represented an important chapter in that story, with an emphasis on identity, confidence, connection, and personal growth. But the next decade calls for a broader conversation.

THE POWER CONFERENCE expands the lens. It brings together entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, executives, founders, creatives, community leaders, and emerging leaders for conversations around Purpose. Business. Leadership. Influence. Faith. Impact.

The conference is intentionally designed to welcome both women and men while remaining rooted in the values and perspective that have always shaped MCWEN.

This is not MCWEN moving away from its identity. It is MCWEN building on what it has learned.

What Does POWER Mean?

Power is not simply about position, visibility, wealth, or authority.

Power is the ability to influence, create, build, lead, open doors, make decisions, and create opportunities for others.

It is also the responsibility to steward whatever influence we have with intention.

The POWER Conference is designed for people who are building something, leading something, or preparing for what comes next.
