Andrena Sawyer is a strategist, speaker, and capacity-building leader committed to helping purpose-driven people and organizations turn vision into sustainable impact. She serves as Executive Director of MCWEN and President of P.E.R.K. Consulting, where she leads work in strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, entrepreneurship, and marketplace ministry. Through her work, Andrena equips leaders to build with clarity, lead with conviction, and steward influence in ways that strengthen communities.

Do you have expertise, experience, or insight that can help women entrepreneurs grow, lead, and move forward? MCWEN is seeking engaging speakers, workshop facilitators, and panelists who can bring practical knowledge, meaningful perspective, and valuable conversation to the 2027 POWER Conference.
 

Selected speakers will have the opportunity to share their expertise with an engaged community of entrepreneurs and professionals and may be featured in event marketing and promotional materials. Please note that MCWEN does not currently offer speaker fees or honorariums.

By submitting this application, I confirm that:

  • The information, biography, credentials, business information, photos, links, and other materials I provide are accurate and truthful to the best of my knowledge.

  • If my proposal is accepted, I authorize MCWEN to use the information, language, photographs, and other materials submitted with my application for speaker promotion and event-related communications, including on the MCWEN website, social media, event pages, promotional materials, and other MCWEN platforms.

  • I understand that MCWEN may edit submitted language for grammar, formatting, length, or promotional purposes while maintaining the substance and intent of the information provided.

  • I understand that MCWEN speaker opportunities are unpaid and that no speaking fee or honorarium is guaranteed unless otherwise communicated in writing.

  • If selected, I agree to participate in a virtual speaker rundown and meet-and-greet approximately two weeks before the conference/event. This meeting will be used to review final event details, expectations, timing, logistics, and opportunities to connect with other speakers.

  • I understand that submitting an application does not guarantee selection, and that MCWEN reserves the right to determine which proposals and speakers are selected for its programming.
